weekend retreat

KMC Geneva Centre Visit

A pure and positive mind

With guest teacher Gen Kelsang Jikgyob from KMC Geneva
the retreat will be guided in French

During this retreat, come and discover how to cleanse your mind of all negativity by practicing the “four powers of purification” taught by Buddha, in the context of the powerful practice of meditation and Vajrasattva recitation, but also how to transform all our daily activities (walking, talking, working, etc.) into a practice of purification.

If we look with wisdom, we can understand that the world is in fact nothing other than each individual’s personal experience. If our mind is impure and negative, it “broods”, we see a gloomy world filled with annoying or irritating people. If our mind is pure and positive, filled with love, inner peace and patience, the world and others appear beautiful and pleasant, and even difficult situations can be experienced positively.

According to Buddhist tradition, our difficulties don’t come from external causes, but are the result of the negative karma we’ve created in the past. If we wish to experience true happiness and avoid suffering, it is therefore very important to free ourselves from our negative karmic baggage by purifying our mind.

Everyone is welcome!

Please note that each retreater will help with a merit job in order to ensure the smooth running of the retreat. Thank you.
