weekend retreat

KMC Geneva Centre Visit

Goûter à la paix de la concentration

With guest teacher Gen Kelsang Jikgyob from KMC Geneva
the retreat will be guided in French

During this retreat, we will learn to deepen our concentration and find a deep inner peace. We will receive basic explanations for training in concentration and session after session, we will train in putting them into practice. In particular, we will learn how to find and stay single pointedly focused on a meditation object over a longer period of time.

Everyone is welcome!

Silence

Remaining silent during a retreat allows the mind to become more peaceful and focused on a short period of time and deepens our meditative experience. Between the meditation sessions, we are invited to remain silence and to limit our distracting activities (like social media,  watching videos or read newspapers), from Friday night, after the introduction, to Saturday before lunch and then from Saturday night after the last session to Sunday at 10am.

If we wish, we can remain silent on a longer period of time, from Friday night after the introduction to Sunday morning after the first session.

Please note that each retreater will help with a merit job in order to ensure the smooth running of the retreat. Thank you.
