Swiss, Italian & Austrian Dharma Festival 2025

A Long and Happy Life

Special Event

Amitayus Empowerment and Teachings

The Dharma Festival for the three countries; Switzerland, Italy and Austria, offers the special opportunity to receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Amitayus, the Buddha of long life, wisdom and good fortune. An empowerment is a special guided meditation through which we receive powerful inspiration.

The practice of Amitayus is very important for everyone because we need a long life to complete our spiritual practice. If we lose this life, we lose the opportunity to enjoy a human life, practise Dharma and attain liberation and enlightenment. We also rely on Amitayus to increase our wisdom and good fortune through which we will make our life happy and meaningful.

‘Amitayus’ means ‘Infinite Life’, which signifies that by relying on this holy being we will not only overcome the dangers of untimely death in this life, but eventually through the Tantric practice of Amitayus attain the pure illusory body – a vajra body that is permanently free from ageing, sickness and death.

Many people use the Condensed Long Life Practice every day – through this brief practice we can increase our lifespan, merit and wisdom. We can also do these prayers to help others.

The Festival is now available via Live-Stream. The event is translated live and streamed in all four languages – German, French and Italian. We use Zoom for live-streaming and will give you respective instructions about 72 hours before.
